Background and Purpose: Endovascular intervention is the firstline treatment of traumatic and mycotic distal aneurysms. However, intraprocedural rupture remains an endangering event given the extremely fragile wall of these lesions. Retrograde filling and rupture of the lesion may still occur after proximal coil occlusion. Therefore, the use of liquid embolic agents with parent vessel sacrifice is commonly required in order to achieve a definite therapeutic response.
