Ischemic Stroke Issue
JNIS is proud to publish the second of three Ischemic stroke themed issues. Read the Editor in Chief's Editorial and access the full issue online only:
"The last decade has witnessed a revolution in the endovascular management of acute ischemic stroke. Device improvement, better-constructed prospective trials, and refinements in endovascular techniques have sparked this revolution. However, critical issues still need to be addressed. Specifically, the importance of pre-thrombectomy imaging, medium-sized vessel thromboses, patient access to capable treatment centers, management of intracranial atherosclerosis, and posterior circulation disease are subjects of debate and investigation. The manuscripts in this issue, and two more to come, address these topics as well as present novel research on this devastating disease."
