012 Structural kyphoplasty: a novel approach that is safe and effective for vertebral fracture repair with early results suggesting a lower subsequent fracture rate

Introduction: Physicians now have greater in situ management during kyphoplasty procedures via the use of a new kyphoplasty device. Through the use of an innovative PEEK wafer stack, structural kyphoplasty permits directional control for vertical augmentation of the vertebral body while still providing fracture stabilization and pain relief.
