Purpose: The scope of acquired symptomatic dissecting aneurysms of the distal brain arteries includes infection (bacterial, fungal), neoplastic origin (cardiac myxoma, chorioncarcinoma) and postpartum cerebral angiopathy. The purpose of the study is to analyze the imaging characteristic and treatment options in nine cases from different pathogenesis with symptomatic distal dissecting aneurysms.
