The mainstay of therapy for DVST is anticoagulation but more aggressive interventional therapies must be considered when medical therapy fails. A case is presented of a patient who was diagnosed with DVST, medically treated immediately but continued to deteriorate. Invasive endovascular therapies ultimately obliterated the thrombi in her sinuses. A brief review of the literature is reported.
