A patient is reported who presented with such an aneurysm. The morphology of the aneurysm was not amenable to microsurgical treatment. The aneurysm was successfully treated with covered stents. This is only the third report of a patient with an infectious pseudoaneurysm in the internal carotid artery treated with a covered stent. At the 1 year follow-up visit, the patient continues to do well. ER -
