Coils were deposited in the internal maxillary arteries either ipsilateral to the site of hemorrhage or in some cases bilaterally. The authors report 100% technical success and 95% procedural success during 30-day telephone follow-up. There were no strokes, and one death during the follow-up period from unrelated causes.
