These goals include the establishment of neurointerventional training standards, refining stroke systems of care, and working with our industry partners to advance the field in our patients’ interest. The Journal of NeuroInterventional Surgery plays an important role in the partnership between our societies.At the point of writing, JNIS has served as ESMINT’s official journal for more than 1 year. Through this partnership, JNIS provides our readers with an international perspective on the field. The availability of the most modern endovascular devices and challenges, such as optimizing access to interventional stroke care, are subjects commonly discussed in the pages of JNIS.Another product of this collaboration was the first award presented at ESMINT 2019 for the JNIS European paper of the year.
